Dear friends! Our daughter was born with cystic fibrosis. For 16 years Olia has been struggling with her disease, and our family is fighting with it as well. Every breath for our daughter is a fight, as first of all, lungs are attacked. This is extremely hard to watch how she has to do several inhalations a day, take medicines to breathe and live a full life. At the same time she doesn’t give up, studies, plays sports, spends her time with friends!

I am a mother of two girls, and it so happened that my younger daughter has an incurable congenital illness called cystic fibrosis. Ever since her birth, for 12 years now, the hospital is our second home. Three or four times a year, my Dasha gets admitted to the cardio-pulmonary unit of the hospital. Many of you know what hospitals' funding is like these days, and our unit is no exception. The charitable foundation "Open Palms" has already bought a pulse oximeter and a spirograph for the unit, and while these are very important pieces of equipment for our children, they are not the only things needed for effective treatment.
I have two sons: the elder Dima and the little Tyoma. My boys have one diagnosis for two: cystic fibrosis. This means – daily inhalations, physiotherapy, several dozen tablets... and no matter how hard you try to manage yourself: there are still endless hospitals and droppers, in the treatment of cystic fibrosis this is an obligatory component. My boys are very strong, they want to live, breath. And as a mother, I have to help them. And I will run for their future!
What is he, a person able to get over a long distance IRONMAN (it means 3.8 km to swim, 180 km to ride a bicycle and, finally, 42 km to run)? Indeed, one must be made of iron or steel. Svyatoslav Tsvetkov looks like a man of unbending spirit, a superhero. After having heard that his superpower can be used for those who are weaker – today the children of his city – a real superhero is eager to help. "We can, so we must", simply says Sviatoslav.
I am a lawyer and I have a hobby--running. Since April 2016, I have taken part in one marathon and several half-marathons. Running is a way for me to improve myself and with every run, I get better. Running has become an essential part of my life and it is through running that I want to improve this world and to help other people. Recently, I heard a wonderful motto to live by: "Evil should not get past you." And I think that everyone can adhere to that principle, with one addition, "Transform evil into good and spread this good to others."
My name is Lena Yudina, I'm 34 years old, I’m a confectioner by vocation and by profession. I have two wonderful daughters: Mira is 11 and Yulia is 4,5 years old. Yulia has a serious genetic disease - cystic fibrosis. But we do not give up and try our best to live our life with the maximum of positive emotions and do everything possible to ensure high-quality treatment for such children as my daughter, as their life depends on it.
I am the mother of the child who lives with the serious genetic disease, cystic fibrosis. This insidious disease involves the whole organism, and more of all the lungs, making the breathing difficult. Every day, every hour we, my daughter and me, are waging a contest where Life itself is the award. I took the decision to take part in this marathon for the benefit of our children lives. Our children are very special, but they are worth living on our wonderful Earth! So now we are collecting money to support the hospital where the children like my daughter are being saved.
