Darynka is waiting for the most valuable gift – for a chance to live without disease and pain! Her mom and dad have been saving their daughter from neuroblastoma for almost two years. This terrible disease was very difficult to treat. Now it is imperative to have a MIBG scanning to make sure that the treatment was successful. The clinic in Bergamo (Italy), one of the best in nuclear medicine, is ready to accept Darynka for the scanning. The bill is 522 euros. For the family that has been paying for their daughter’s treatment for two years, it’s hard to find even such an amount. And the examination is urgent.
The cute boy in the photo is Nikita Pechoritsa. He is from the city of Pavlograd and he is only 11 years old. Active and cheerful, Nikita loves adventures and hiking with friends, walks with his father for fishing. But now the boy is forced to stay in the hospital ward, he has blood cancer.
Little Sasha has arteriovenous malformation. The doctors call this disease "a bomb". This is a defect in the vessels which means that they may break at any time and the boy’s brain will be in blood. And it means death. Now Sasha have a surgery with the help of special micro instruments the cost of which is 126 400 UAH. Nearly a half of this amount has already been raised by Kyiv school pupils at the charity fair. Let’s help this young family not lose their happiness!
Young parents were planning a wedding for a long time. There was always something. When Ira, Sasha’s mother, got pregnant, new troubles arose. The pregnancy went well. And on the fifth of June a little Sasha was born. The boy grew well and had no health problems. When he was three months, the doctors noticed that Sasha’s head increased. The ultrasound examination revealed hydrocephalus and vessel problems. The boy was urgently sent to the Institute of Neurosurgery.
In October the neurosurgeons performed an operation to eliminate hydrocephalus problem and to improve Sasha’s condition. But in the immediate future it is also necessary to operate on the malformation, since the vessels in the brain can be broken without cause. This is a bomb that can detonate at any time! The boy needs our help and quickly.

How does the disease choose people? What are her criteria? Weak or strong, hardy or not? We do not know why tumor chooses this guy, but we are convinced that together we can help overcome it. Myhailo is 27, and he is one of those who can be called a hero. A tall, handsome man with broad shoulders and big plans for life. However, these plans ruthlessly destroy the diagnosis: "swelling of the eye."
Yarik Kostyuchenko from Kiev is a child with a difficult fate. At this boy first his father died, and a few years later his mother. The grandmother took care of the child. Now Yaroslav is the only and beloved grandson in the family of pensioners. They replaced Yarik's parents. To receive custody of the little grandson, Nadezhda Grigoryevna had to attend two months of childcare courses along with young mothers. However, along with the joy of finding a grandson in the house of pensioners, problems came up that young and full-strength parents can not cope with. At Yarik was found hepatitis.
Little Yaroslava likes traveling with her grandpa, swimming in the river, listening to music; she also likes visiting friends and giving gifts. When you are just six years old, you want to be friends with everyone in the world and to learn everything you can. But Yaroslava's own body, imprisoned by spasticity, tells her "no". To eat a cookie by herself, to brush her own hair, to crawl up to a favorite toy is a trial and an accomplishment for Yaroslava. The doctors say that she should be able to walk, but for that to happen, she must have surgery according to the Ulzibat technique.
"Why do you need an operation?", I ask. "Arms and legs hardened into stone. We are making both massage and exercises, but her elbows and knees do not unbend completely. Now Marichka is growing fast, her muscles and tendons simply do not keep up with her body, they need help. Every day now is very painful", the mother said. Professor Ul’zibat invented how to help in this situation; his operation methodology really helps thousands of children. It will help Marichka too if only we will be able to pay for this treatment.
“Before the accident Bogdanchik was a healthy, active child. But when he was 1year and 3 months old, the misfortune happened – he fell into a deep hole with water. When the child was taken out, he did not breathe. But, the arrived “ambulance” managed to get his heart beating. On the way to the hospital, Bogdan had a repeated heart failure. The doctors’ conclusion: a clinical death for 12 minutes, the brain is dead, coma of the 3rd stage. They did not give a chance to live. But in the morning a miracle happened.
