Nova Poshta Kyiv Half Marathon it is my first time I am going to run for many little orphans who dream of their loving family.They dream of mother's tender hands, caring, reliable father's shoulder instead of cold walls of the orphanage. I am going to run, so every child in Ukraine has his\her mom and dad.

Oleksii almost always wears caps because he is a little shy of his new hairstyle. Now he undergoes antitumor treatment but he cannot complete it because the radiotherapy machine broke down. The boy has to continue treatment in a different hospital where the service is not free of charge. Treatment cannot be interrupted because the boy’s life depends on timely medical procedures. However, his single mother cannot afford to pay for the prescribed cycles. Her only hope is other people’s help.
When Sergii was three years old, his mother died of a brain tumor. And now this little boy has to fight for his life because he has a brain tumor too. His granny who is his legal guardian stays with him at the Department of Neurosurgery. Also, she brings up Sergiy’s two elder sisters on her own. The family has barely enough money to live on and it is just impossible for them to buy all the necessary medical materials for a surgery that is not available in the hospital.
Vania likes guests very much. When somebody enters his room at the hospital, he is eager to tell about the events that happened to him during the day. However, today he will not be able to tell anything because he will be under anesthesia on the operating table. He needs a surgery to remove a brain tumor. At that time his mom has to find money to buy the necessary medications for the postoperative period. This woman is a single parent who maintains two kids alone, that’s why she cannot cope without our helping hand.
In 2014 at the festival of advertising "Cannes Lions" one of the main prizes went to a social video called "Dear Future Mother". In it, 15 young people with Down syndrome are treated as if on behalf of unborn children to their future mothers. They say that the life of such a mother will be very different. Sometimes sad, sometimes cheerful, sometimes very bustling. But it certainly will be complete, because how can be the empty life of a mother who is raising a beloved child?
01.08.2013“Before the accident Bogdanchik was a healthy, active child. But when he was 1year and 3 months old, the misfortune happened – he fell into a deep hole with water. When the child was taken out, he did not breathe. But, the arrived “ambulance” managed to get his heart beating. On the way to the hospital, Bogdan had a repeated heart failure. The doctors’ conclusion: a clinical death for 12 minutes, the brain is dead, coma of the 3rd stage. They did not give a chance to live. But in the morning a miracle happened.
For Maksym, a CSF shunt is like air because he cannot live without it. All the diagnoses with which the boy was born to remind of an extract from the medical encyclopedia: brain edema, convulsion syndrome, microcephaly, hydrocephalus, pneumonia, hypotrophy… After installation of the shunt system Maksym can live without pain but now it has to be replaced. The boy grew up and the old shunt could no longer function properly. It is impossible for parents who spent more time at the hospital than at home to find the necessary amount.
On June, 2, Masha was three years old. It would seem a wonderful age, a carefree childhood. But trouble in the family Kudoiar came suddenly. In October last year, the girl was diagnosed with oncology: the spine cancer of the neck section of G3. Masha has helped donors UBB – thanks to the support of caring people the girl got colony-stimulating drug and was able to continue treatment. Now this wonderful child needs our help and support again!
Milana is a long-awaited daughter, one of the twins. She and her brother were born prematurely and, unfortunately, with health problems. Milanka was very-very small and could not breathe on her own. After an ultrasound hydrocephalus was detected. Unsuccessful treatment led to inflammation in the patient’s head. Now the girl is at the Institute of Neurosurgery. She needs a CSF shunt system to be installed but before inflammation has to be eliminated. The family has no more resources to treat their kids and they ask for a helping hand.
In each Kurazh Bazar, we are raising money to help children, and in June we hold a traditional Charity flea market when we give all the profit from the event on charity. As a result of our three years work has been bought medication for children Ukrainian cancer center, occluders for children with heart disease, devices for the care of premature infants, we have equipped the school and helped in the treatment and surgery for children for the sum of 2,4 million UAH. This year the charity flea market we devote to the socialization of children with disabilities, we will fully fund the camp SpaceCamp for children with complex disorders.
