"Humans can work. They can earn money. And they can help other humans – friends or relatives. What about animals? My dogs have a home and my love. But other need help. On the streets of cities, there should be no begging eyes and beaten tails. Nowadays you can find plenty of videos on the network with violent behavior with animals. It's intolerable things. And we should do our best to protect them. We are as happy as they are."

"Why do I take part in the marathon of Wizz Air Kyiv City Marathon? They are actually very simple. The initiative Happy Paw Charity Foundation coincides with my life position - to help our furry friends". The talented architect and founder of the workshop 2B.group Slava Balbek finds time not only for work and family, but also for helping homeless animals. "We can not be responsible for all the abandoned and homeless animals in the world. But each of us has the opportunity to help those who are around". Fitness-trainer and founder of Skinny & Strong Club, Mary Karachyna, loves running since childhood. She has participated in many marathons Ukraine, Europe and the United States, including charities.
We all live in society. Any of us could have seen homeless animals that were injured, ill or left for dead. They can't call for help and only in their eyes you can see how they say "I am alive! Help me, don't leave me!" If not we then who will give a helping hand to paws. Let's save animals together just because we are people!
At Purina, we believe that pets and people are better together. Pets enrich our lives, give us company, affection and an excuse to play. We want more people to experience the benefits that pets bring to people and our society.
Purina will double the amount, collected to support our Team on UBB. Let’s help together!
I’d like to draw attention of people, who in some way or other will participate in the marathon, to the problem of homeless animals.
I’d like to involve them to Happy Paws though this “active” way.
Participation in this marathon is an excellent opportunity to show that the problem of homeless can be solved in various ways. Sport is one of the ways. However, someone thinks it is impossible to combine. But I’m sure we can prove opposite by which we’ll involve a big number of partial to paws in order to act for the Happy Paw.
I think that animals are the best on the planet.
They’re sincere, honest and genuine.
I adore dogs very much and I’d like to be exactly a dog in my next life.
When I see homeless dogs and cats, I feel extremely sorry. If I could, I’d take all of them to my home!
Why am I running 42 km? Cause I can to do that and love it. Why with Happy Paw – because I love pets... Do what you love – it is happiness... All the best to everyone!
For many years we save the lives of homeless animals. Lives of those who was born and grown up in the street, been lost, abandoned, kicked out due to old age. Also of those who, while knoking about the world, were suffered of freezing, starving, and been turned out to the terrible trouble, i.e., mangled under the wheels of the cars, weaken, became sick, beaten by cruel people, poisoned, etc. Owing to the projects previously placed at ubb.org.ua ("Aibolit hastens to help", "First Aid for animals") we have saved hundreds of lives. And we can do more, but with Your help!
