Only in the Kherson region in the year there are 2,000 children-patients with heart disease and the same number of newborns with congenital malformations. Unfortunately, this is one of the progressive diseases among children in Ukraine. You can not be indifferent, because today, our cardiac experts can cure hundreds of thousands of young patients in just a year. The only thing they need is to provide the appropriate equipment.

The project "The Way to Heart" seeks to set a new record in the number of rescued children's lives. The aim of the event is to support the hospitals, which for many parents is the only hope because, for hundreds of kilometers around, they will never receive the necessary medical care for their children. We are raising money for equipment for a hospital in Kovel, Ratne village, Dnipro, and Kiev.
Families always impatiently expect their newborns while understanding that their lives will dramatically change. However, no one is prepared to say goodbye to their little miracle forever already in a year, a month or even in an hour. To prevent such tragedy, doctors are coming for help. Together with parents, they constantly struggle for children’s lives.
Every day we choose whether to do something or postpone for tomorrow, accept or deny, fight or surrender. Sometimes in order to fight desire alone is not enough. In fact, help and support of others in essential. Children Cardiac Center patients choose to fight for their lives. During their struggle, doctors, medical equipment and parents’ care come to help.
Each of us thought many times of whether my heart stops what will happen? Is it the very end? Maybe it is. But not for them. Not for young patients whose hearts are struggling for life under the eye of an experienced cardiologist. And all because we are be able to save much more than the heartbeat. We keep their bodies warm and life-giving rivers flow in their veins. To make blood in the heart beating again without difficulties and obstacles gushing source, filling the tiny body is still quite enormous vitality. How to save their lives – keeping them warm? - you ask yourself. We don't say it is easy, but possible.
Patients and doctors of Ukraine’s leading medical institution treating oncological diseases, the National Institute of Cancer, need our support. State financing is insufficient to provide all departments with vitally needed equipment. Among others, an acute issue is prompt purchase of vital signs monitors: without them, doctors are as if without hands. For patients, lack of these monitors means lack of proper treatment and control.
