Looking at this perky girl, it is hard to imagine that she lives a very difficult life. Angelina has primary immunodeficiency is a congenital disease that completely deprives a child of natural immunity. She spends all her childhood in hospitals – viruses, infections, pneumonia do not allow the girl to live fully. And only taking immunoglobulins allows her to forget about her constant diseases for a while. UBB donors have repeatedly helped Angelina, and thanks to this help, the girl now lives like an ordinary child.

Yura Petrenko has a difficult fate. He is only ten years old, and from birth he is constantly sick with infectious diseases - purulent sinusitis, acute bronchitis and pneumonia. The cause of congenital deficiency of immunity is primary immunodeficiency. Doctors of the Department of Immunology discovered this serious illness in Jura 7 years ago. The diagnosis involves regular support of the body with immunoglobulins and the treatment of emerging viral or infectious diseases with antibiotics. The number of medications taken by Yura is horrifying. Some antibiotics no longer have the desired effect on the boy's body.
Every year, many Ukrainian companies in the New Year’s time try to come up with something unusual to give to their partners, customers, friends. Every year, large amounts of money are spent to impress people who have almost everything. We want to do differently. We want to do more. We want to give our partners, clients and friends what they don’t have yet: the opportunity to become a magician for those who need it most – for babies who are born into this world much earlier than their parents and doctors have planned.
Sonia continues the struggle for life, which does not stop for a single day. It would seem that the worst is over – chemotherapy blocks, painful punctures, sleepless nights, days full of anxieties, waiting for results, have remained in the past... But unexpected situations often arise also at home. The past month has been difficult for Sonia and her mother. Just a week after the droppers, the girl's liver counts were 238 with a norm of 32! And this despite the fact that the little girl takes hepatoprotectors, and Sonia's mother constantly monitors the tests. A few days later, at night, Sonya suddenly felt ill: the baby shook and threw into a fever, her face turned white...
Doing good is easy! Every good deed makes this world a little bit better, and a good deed that unites many people can completely change one's life and fill it with bright colors. That is why the team of OTP Bank of the Western Ukrainian Regional Directorate again joins the charity. We are raising funds to purchase fuel for seven minibusses that bring over 100 children and young people with disabilities to classes every day at the Dzherelo Center.
I have a friend, Artem. He is 10. I will not find a word to describe to you the incredible blue of his eyes. True, he almost never looks into my eyes. I don't even know for sure if he thinks I'm a grown-up adult friend. Artem has autism. He is not talking to me. But, he shares with me his favorite french fries, and so we are friends.
It is important for my friend to go to the Dzherelo Rehabilitation Center daily, as well as to other children – with cerebral palsy, for example.
It's more enjoyable to give than to receive! And, when you give something to those who need it most, you give them a piece of yourself. Dzherelo is motivating and inspiring. Dzherelo teaches how it is – giving, yet receiving more. That is why I want to raise 10,000 UAH with you all for refueling the Dzherelo Bus. After all, our progress – good works good! And, it's Christmas soon! Therefore good, good, good! Let’s give.
Is it important for a disabled child to have daily activities, socialization and friends? YES, and I know it for sure! My son Artem visits the Dzherelo Centre daily and he enjoys being here! More than 250 children and young people from all over the Lviv city come to the Dzherelo every day. Seven accessible minibuses take children and young people from their homes, otherwise, it would be impossible for them to reach the Dzherelo Centre.
My name is Natalia Oliinyk, I am the co-founder of BestArt Beauty Studio, I have an active and healthy lifestyle and I love communicating with interesting people. Also, I believe that together we can do important things and help those who need it. When I met people of the Dzherelo Centre, I was amazed at their inspiration and the smiles of the children, their authenticity. Let's raise some funds for the convenient transportation of children and young people with special needs for training and rehabilitation to Dzherelo Centre together!
My name is Mariana Romanyak. I am a journalist and founder of First Media School. I love the Dzherelo Centre with all my heart and I am always ready to help! Our task is to raise 3000 UAH till December 17 for refueling of Dzherelo special buses.
