Misha Nikolaenko is a naughty and cheerful little boy from Sumy region. During the time passed from the publication of the last project, this boy grew up, at the end of January he turned 6 years old. Like all boys of his age, he loves cars and races, he drives rapidly on everything that rides. Misha loves to "chemize" (as he says): mix everything that comes to hand. "He counts up to 100 and reads by syllables", says his mother.

Last year Nastia Yaroshenko completed the main treatment. Two years ago, in March 2017, doctors discovered the girl's nephroblastoma. Nastia was then operated on, removing the tumor along with the kidney. Behind left numerous courses of chemotherapy, to which the girl's body reacted with low tests, weakness, and poor well-being... But still she was unable to achieve remission and Nastia was discharged home.
In August last year, a new girl, Ania Zeliona, appeared in the hematology department of the Sumy region. The girl has a difficult fate. She is an orphan and the grandmother has taken custody of the child. With grandmother and two sisters, Ania lives in the Sumy region. The girl graduated from 8 classes. Ania loves animals very much and after the 9th grade, she planned to enter the veterinary college. Unfortunately, the insidious disease has made its changes in the girl's plans. Back in February, Ania had a very tiny "pea" on her hand, which was not even immediately noticed.
In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals.
In the framework of the project in the direction of Oncology on May,7 2019, the Department of Radiation Diagnostics of the National Cancer Institute was received assistance.
Andryusha is only 9 months old. This is the first and expected child of the spouses Valentine and Elena Domaratsky living in the Chernihiv region. But the joy of the birth of his son gradually overshadowed the problems associated with the health of the baby. “Our joy turned into despair,” the boy’s mother says with a sore heart. Andryusha has a rare disease – primary immunodeficiency, which is confirmed by genetic testing.

There are no definite medical reports about the causes of preterm birth. It does not always depend on the health of the mother or the conditions of her life and means. It can happen to anyone. Every 15th child in Ukraine needs to be saved, and it is completely dependent on medical equipment. Now in the Ukrainian maternity hospitals, there is a catastrophic lack of the simplest devices that can save the life of little babies, whose weight is sometimes not even equal to 1 500 grams.
Artem is a smart, curious and bright boy. And now he is in the intensive care and badly needs expensive treatment. His mother is near him all the time. His dad, brother and sister, hamster, parrot, and rabbits are waiting for him at home. When Artem grows up, he will definitely become an "animal doctor". But right now it is him who needs treatment.
Denys’ difficult treatment of neuroblastoma lasted a year and six months and then, thanks to the supporters at UBB, the boy underwent an obligatory MIBG scan in Italy. The examination revealed the remnants of the tumor which enabled the Ukrainian doctors to select the appropriate protocol. Denys has undergone surgery and radiation therapy and now receives supportive chemotherapy. And he again needs to go to Italy because the effectiveness of treatment can be confirmed only with the help of special iodine isotopes that, unfortunately, are not available in Ukraine.
To the destiny of positive and energetic Alina was fell the ordeal. She has to overcome lymphoma – cancer that can take away her life. But Alina is a girl with character and is not going to rely only on fate. This 22-year-old beautiful girl as a child was more friends with the boys, and the entertainment was respectively as the boys: she was chasing a soccer ball, playing volleyball and tennis. After graduation, she studied at the Poltava Agrarian Academy, received a specialty ecologist. Unfortunately, the girl did not manage to find a job in her specialty, so she worked as a salesman, accountant.
Maxim always says that he'll manage on his own, he says that others have a greater need. He rarely accepts help, and this might be the first time that he actually asks for it. This young man was born with a severe incurable disease and he literally has to fight for each day of his life since the moment of his birth, and this is quite an expensive battle. More often than not, he has to pay for his medicines from his own pocket – the state budget can't afford it, but he cannot postpone his treatments. The next inpatient treatment is scheduled for December, and now Maxim asks to help him cover the cost of IV therapy drugs crucial for his life.
