I don’t talk as much as I should about the side of my life, where my mother, a loving and caring woman with a big heart is trying to get me involved with charity.

"Little adorable children with big wonderful eyes and souls”. That was the first thought that stroke me, as I got to the foster care center “Home of happy children”. There I met 35 absolutely adorable, harmless kids, who didn’t get a chance to be with their mommies and daddies. Those are the children who were taken from their real parents by social services because their parents couldn’t raise them in proper condition with love and support. In “Home of happy children” children found a shelter, a place, where they’re being loved no matter what.
The Happy Paw initiative is a great opportunity to to raise 10 000 thousand UAH.for the construction of booths, where animals can hide from the weather and feel safe.
We are ready to run on October 7th Wizz Air Kyiv City Marathon (despite the fact that not all of us run), because ... would not you run for the sake of warm houses?
But since everyone can not run, your contribution to warm booths is to donate money. Otherwise, then all winter, going out into the street and feeling the coldest wind, you will be thinking of " And how does a sick dog feel under this wind??"
Helping animals is one of the key values of Rechi.ua.
I run and fundraising for Happy Paw to make a Dogs on Earth more happy, and Happy Paw is one can do it well
So says Rudolf Krajewski, one of the leaders of the Ukrainian vegan community, the founder of Vegano Hooligano and the initiator of the KYIV VEGAN BOOM festival, and of course you have heard of him as a smiling and ready-to-help person. Yes, we need so many help now.
Hi, my name is Alisa Onufriyeva. I am 11 years old and I have cystic fibrosis. This year a miracle happened in my life! Some great people bought a chamber inhaler for me. Thanks to this device, I was able to make my big dream – hiking tour to the Carpathian mountains – come true. It was an unbelievable and unforgettable week: mountains, crystal-clear water, nights at the bonfire, new friends, falling stars, blueberry fields and a lot of new impressions I will never forget. That is why the life is worth living and fighting for every day. My dream is for all little patients with cystic fibrosis to have such great small inhalers. I want all children to do what they wish, want all their dreams to come true and want their lives to be full of bright colors, emotions and impressions. I hope that there will be many more kind people who will help me to raise UAH 9,400 for children who have the same diagnosis as I do. It will bring miracles to the lives of two more little dreamers!
Olga Vovk-Sobina is a founder of the program to support patients with cystic fibrosis in the Happy Child Foundation and co-founder of Ukraine without Torture NGO.
«For over six years, I have been helping patients with cystic fibrosis and I do not imagine my life without those little patients. They are my challenge and the sense of my life. By a twist of fate, in spring a member of my family was also diagnosed with this disease. I will do whatever I can to achieve my goal, to give the cherished freedom to people with cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of their lives!
My goal is to raise UAH 12 043 to purchase three chamber inhalers for patients with cystic fibrosis!»
That is how my life turned out. At first, I gave birth to Dasha, a wonderful girl with cystic fibrosis and later I started my part-time job at the Happy Child Foundation. My daughter has a rare genetic disease – cystic fibrosis. This diagnosis did not bring fear to our family, it rather gave us more strength and motivation to fight with the disease.
Dasha is a whole flow of energy and a happy little puppy: she never has time to lie down and suffer, cry or complain why the life is so unjust. Starting her day at 6 a.m. with outdoor physical exercises, training at the wall bar for the whole day and finishing her day late in the evening riding a bike or a scooter after doing gymnastics – that is her lifestyle. She goes to school and gymnastics as other children and loves traveling and going for long walks.
My name is Leonid Lobanok. For several years, I helped the Happy Child Foundation as a volunteer. Throughout these years, many children whom I tried to support became part of my life. Now I am the executive director of the foundation, so they are also my responsibility. Sometimes I feel a strong desire to move heaven and earth to save the life of at least one child! But what can I do to defeat their diseases? What can I do to save someone’s life? I run! I do not run away from problems and challenges but I run to resolve them! I run with a call to join our efforts to help children with the genetic disease of cystic fibrosis. My goal is with your support to raise UAH 14 235 to purchase chamber inhalers for children with cystic fibrosis to give them freedom!
Can everybody breathe freely? You are the one who can help! My name is Yana Krol, I work in the area of aesthetic medicine and cosmetology, so health is a topic, which is very familiar to me. Back when I was a student, I realized how important breathing is and how critical it is to ease this process for patients with cystic fibrosis. Joining the Wireless Breathing project, you can help children breathe freely and stay active, not focusing all their attention on their disease. Every contribution is a small step into the happy tomorrow – and we all can make it happen.
My goal is to raise UAH 9,400 to purchase two chamber inhalers for patients with cystic fibrosis!
Sergey Andrukh. Designer. Why do I take part in the marathon? I want to have fun. My designer’s work is mostly about moving my hands only for days, and when I run, my body is enriched with what it usually lacks – endorphin, dopamine and adrenaline. Thanks to those hormones, the body revives, cheers up and becomes unbelievably happy. Moreover, taking part in the marathon allows your heart to stay strong and healthy, and you really need your heart to give it to the children supported by the Happy Child Foundation. Running for their small hearts is a gift! I thank the Universe for being able to do some good!
