World medicine is moving fast forward. Every day scientists make new fundamental discoveries in this area. They search medicaments for deadly diseases, offer revolutionary methods of treatment, invent new devices for accurate diagnosis and save thousands of lives. Unfortunately, just some hospitals can boast of the presence of modern equipment in our state.

Serhii Petryshyn has a brittle bone disease. His bones can break at any moment even just from standing on his feet. He always breaks legs or arms, often several bones simultaneously. Serhiy suffers from a hideous pain. The boy can wear a cast for several months. As soon as he takes the cast off, other bones are broken.
The Charitable Foundation "You are an Angel" intends to upgrade a computer class for orphans from the Dolyna Orphanage "Warm Home". For this, we need to raise funds in the amount of 65 000 UAH. The modern world is full of computers. Information technology development gets incredible turns! A personal computer at home is already not a luxury, but a norm. Thanks to the Internet, we can get information on everything that interests us. However, the ability to find the information we need is already becoming a true art. A person needs to be able to highlight useful, meaningful and in-depth information from the unnecessary and superficial ones.
Traditionally, our foundation tries to provide and help boarding schools with basic medicines. The cost of medicine, that is necessary for kids from Ivano-Frankivsk Center for Social and Psychological Children Rehabilitation, is UAH 35 000 during autumn and winter periods. Autumn is associated with red and yellow trees, a hot tea and a piece of sweet-smelling apple pie, a rustle of leaves under feet. However, there is another side of such a beautiful season, when rainy, foggy days come to change sunny days. Additionally, symptoms and signs of cold and acute respiratory infections appear in this period.

It seems, 2018 has been only started, but it is not far from the beauty of winter. Meanwhile, the volunteers of the Charity Foundation "You are an Angel" had a lot of work, and the new project – the organization of New Year holidays for our little wards – needs to be paid attention. We plan to visit more than 800 children with Christmas gifts from St. Mykolai this year. They are orphans, social orphans, or those boys and girls who are in difficult life situations.
It gets cold. Children should dress warmly. But some of them have no warm jackets, hats, or even socks. Tutors from the Yabluniv boarding school are waiting for the cold season with fear because their wards do not even have a warm underwear. Their panties and socks have a lot of gaps, they are worn and stitched, have no aesthetic look and no longer fit as needed.
Winter is the season charming in its own way and preparing many positive emotions for each of us. We meet the whole family near a warm fireplace in winter and celebrate the touching Christmas holiday. We look forward to the gifts from St. Nicholas, Santa Claus in winter. Children have exciting school holidays in the cold months of a year; it is the time of sledding, skiing, snowboarding, playing snowballs and snowboarding with their parents. Winter is a joy, a fairy tale, new dreams, and desires, isn’t it?
Do you remember Danylo? He has Crohn's disease, and we already collected money for treatment. Now Danja is at home but he continues treatment. The guy constantly consults with the doctors of the regional hospital. He often gives tests to monitor his state of health. Long-term use of drugs gives the result. But there are side effects that negatively affect the baby's body.
Our Yulia Fedoriv further undergoes antiviral therapy. She struggles with hepatitis “B” and already 157 weeks additionally takes a hepatoprotective. Her condition is stable; she is a successful student. But often due to illness and constant therapy her body loses strength. Yulia has to undergo another round of tests soon. During winter break in late January, she will go to Kyiv. Their physicians will prescribe her further treatment. And we hope that the survey will yield good results.
