"Running is not just a sport. Nothing will help you relax after a busy day like a night run. When jogging is already a daily ritual, life changes to "before" and "after". Because running gives you time to comprehend what is important and what is not.

The Happy Paw Charity Foundation has been implementing a variety of social projects since 2012, helps shelters throughout the country, teaches schoolchildren how to humanely and responsibly treat pets. The foundation was created with the goal to unify all the efforts and opportunities to solve the problem of homeless animals in Ukraine.
From 2014 to 2017, the Fund was the winner of special nominations of the National Charitable Ukraine Competition and the National Rating of Philanthropists.
"Hi! We, Daria and Anton, love a healthy way of life, running and pets. Caring for a four-footed friend is not just a duty of modern man, but also an opportunity to remain in dialogue with nature. We are running so that as many homeless pets as possible find their favorable place for living.
"Once, I promised myself that I would dedicate my every race to a socially important cause. I am an ultramarathoner, co-founder of the largest racing community – Top Runners, for which I personally became convinced that running could do real miracles, raise funds for real charitable purposes, and sometimes – save lives. So, in January 2018, I organized the Mom Charity Run, thanks to which I was able to pay bills for the treatment of my mother, who was injured in an car accident.
"Every person comes into this world with certain goals. I cannot force or persuade someone to act well. However, I can do it myself and tell you that it is necessary to help others. Once, I visited the shelter and was impressed: 2 000 pairs of eyes that wanted love, which was enough to be patted and stood beside them. In April, I will take part in Nova Poshta Kyiv Half Marathon and collect funds for pets from the shelter "Best Friends" in the Makarov district.
"Good deeds and useful activity - one of the core values of restaurants and Milk Bar Dogs&Tails. We always try to be useful to society and do many good things, and we love sports. Our main task is to develop a culture of charity and social responsibility within the collective and together to do good deeds for the society in which we live.
"Humans can work. They can earn money. And they can help other humans – friends or relatives. What about animals? My dogs have a home and my love. But other need help. On the streets of cities, there should be no begging eyes and beaten tails. Nowadays you can find plenty of videos on the network with violent behavior with animals. It's intolerable things. And we should do our best to protect them. We are as happy as they are."
"Why do I take part in the marathon of Wizz Air Kyiv City Marathon? They are actually very simple. The initiative Happy Paw Charity Foundation coincides with my life position - to help our furry friends". The talented architect and founder of the workshop 2B.group Slava Balbek finds time not only for work and family, but also for helping homeless animals. In photographs, you can often see him surrounded by small spouts who are looking for a family.
"We can not be responsible for all the abandoned and homeless animals in the world. But each of us has the opportunity to help those who are around". Fitness-trainer and founder of Skinny & Strong Club, Mary Karachyna, loves running since childhood. She has participated in many marathons Ukraine, Europe and the United States, including charities.
At Purina, we believe that pets and people are better together. Pets enrich our lives, give us company, affection and an excuse to play. We want more people to experience the benefits that pets bring to people and our society.
Purina will double the amount, collected to support our Team on UBB. Let’s help together!
I’d like to draw attention of people, who in some way or other will participate in the marathon, to the problem of homeless animals.
I’d like to involve them to Happy Paws though this “active” way.
