Due to limited funding, the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery (CVS) of Odessa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital is in desperate need of help. The smallest, newborn babies with heart problems often get to the department. For children, excessive blood loss during a surgical intervention is extremely dangerous and poses a threat not only to health but even to life. Therefore, the department is asking for help in purchasing such medical equipment as a binocular loupe (2 рс) and helmet-mounted direct light (2 pc).
For 6 months, Maxym Tkach has been struggling for his healthy life. An accident turned his life upside down. A healthy, active boy fell down from a low children's slide at the outdoor playground. He badly hit is head on the hard surface. Maxym has ended up having a severe head injury. Unfortunately, in Ukraine the choice of specialized centers with high-class neuro-rehabilitation facilities is very limited. Fortunately, doctors from the NODUS Clinic in Ukraine have agreed to help Maxym. However, the cost of their services is unbearable for Maxym’s family.
Ania’s mom got to know that her daughter would have health problems in late pregnancy. The baby was born with spina bifida, which is an incomplete closing of the spine. This pathology is commonly called a hernia. The girl was immediately operated on. However, unfortunately, this disease is usually accompanied by hydrocephalus. Another surgery is required to install the CSF shunt system. But the family is no longer able to buy everything they need.
