Igor has been fighting for his life for quite a few years by now. He had often been on the brink of death and sometimes he isn't even sure how he managed to hold on. But we definitely know this: in the fight for one's life, every bit of effort is important. It is your help that might provide that little bit that will tip the balance, helping Igor survive. Since the day he was born, he has had cystic fibrosis. It is a serious illness that exhausts the body because of frequent episodes of infection, consumes the body mass because of high fevers and interferes with nutrient absorption besides. Given those circumstances, the only way to hold on is by having nutritional supplements. But Igor has completely run out of these supplements at present. Please help Igor – he wants to keep fighting.

If she could ask Dasha frank questions about how she lives with cystic fibrosis, she would probably tell how endless inhalations and droppers bothered her, how painful her veins “collapsed” and the nurse looking for a place for an injection. How sad it is when there is a lot of treatment in life, and communication with peers is not enough. And also about how hard it is to think that your present and future depends on whether there is enough money for all prescribed medications.
You already know Kristina Buivol. This summer she has improved greatly. Very good results have been obtained just for several months. There can be nothing more heartwarming for the parents to see their child making progress. “Mom, today I stood by myself for several minutes, I made a couple of steps, kept balance and was walking with a stick!” These words of Kristina are good news for the parents after she stays in a wheelchair for 4 years! Now her eyes shine and she wants to live! She became more persevering and self-assured – now she is a quite another person.
Scientists studying epilepsy compare the activity of brain neurons during an attack with a flash of lightning during a thunderstorm. A beautiful comparison is a serious illness that even the last generation anticonvulsants do not always cope with. That is exactly how things worked for Andryusha Moskalenko, and yet modern medicine seems to have found a solution to the problem. Now you need to find funds for salvage treatment.
