The expectant mother was pregnant with twins. Two girls, two sisters – happiness. However, the news, which knocked the earth out from under the woman’s feet, was the antithesis of happiness: one of the girls died in the womb. An emergency cesarean section, at least to save the second daughter... Ania survived. Thank God Ania survived!

We continue to work on creating a play space on the territory of the children's shelter in Ivano-Frankivsk region. We invite you to actively join us, because jointed efforts will make possible quick turning the gray, dangerous, physically worn out, and experienced play area into a modern ground for sports and play.
Working with orphans and children deprived of parental care in the "gray zone", with children who, in addition to living in shelters and boarding schools, were directly affected by the armed conflict in Ukraine – is an activity that not many people systematically engage in. The volunteers of our Foundation are just such people, of the few. For more than three years in a row, they have been continuously going to institutions for orphans and children deprived of parental care, ie to those whose parents have died, died or been abandoned.
The Home of Happy Children center since 2007 helps unfortunate children. Such children find a shelter in the Center and at last get to the safe place. These are children who endured too much – violence, starvation, they were thrown by own parents, at some of them relatives died and they just are necessary to nobody. The Center of children provides necessary: food, accommodation, training.
Dear donors! You have already known Kiryusha Ivanenko, whose mother had a period of pregnancy and childbirth coinciding with the beginning of hostilities in 2014. The family at that time lived in Debaltseve, Donetsk region. The birth was difficult: Kiryusha was born in hypoxia. Oxygen starvation of the brain led to the following diagnoses: cerebral palsy, delayed psycho-physical development, dystonic tetraparesis, atypical autism. Yulia was forced to leave the Anti-Terrorist Operation Zone with a sick child in her arms and become a resettlement in a foreign city.
Sasha was born in the summer. Apparently, that's why he got such a warm sunny smile and glowing eyes. This world has been helping Alexander Ostrovsky to be "his" among boys and girls of his hometown for 12 years. Sasha has cerebral palsy and sensorineural deafness. Every word has been givening to him with great difficulty. He is special, but such a favorite son and the best friend! A friend which is looking forward to telling the whole world how happy he is to be born! How happy he is to have so many good people around him!
Immediately after the birth, Mariyka’s parents noticed that her daughter had something wrong with the shape of her head. If you look in profile, the head was too round with a beveled occiput. Then the parents began a thorough examination of the baby. The doctors in Vinnytsia advised to consult the neurosurgeons in Kyiv. At the Institute of Neurosurgery, Mariyka was diagnosed with craniostenosis and recommended a reconstructive cranioplasty.
During quarantine, the number of calls to the hotlines for domestic violence increased by 30-50%. Fearfully? Of course. But perhaps frightening statistics will draw attention to the problem, and the public will finally become less tolerant of this phenomenon. In order to jointly provide comprehensive legal, social and psychological assistance to victims of domestic violence, 7 Dnieper organizations joined together in a network of “Pani Patronessa”.
50,000 UAH were stolen from her and put an end to her treatment. Two years of struggle for life with stage 4 breast cancer. Two years of endless fundraising. Two years of operations, chemotherapy and radiation. And now again life hangs in the balance. Relapse has occurred. And at the same time they stole funds from a personal card for the next course of treatment. And a pause in treatment for her is death. Half stolen – donations are listed on her birthday, the other half is the credit limit. In general, this is the sum of the next course, which means one more month of life for her. Now this money is gone and she begs you for help.
Alarm! Alarm! Little Ania is in trouble. Almost simultaneously, two of her assistants, the oxygen apparatus and the inhaler, have broken down. For a person with such a serious illness as Ania’s, this is a disaster, because without them the girl can’t breathe normally. Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, damages their tissue, clogs the airways with viscous sputum, in which infections multiply. The only way to survive is to do the whole sets of special exercises and inhalations every day, morning and evening, and sometimes in the middle of the day to clean your lungs. This is the only way to breathe.
