There is a wonderful girl named Eva. She is 11 years old and she is practical doesn't differ from her peers... While sitting. But walking is given to her with difficulty. Eva is from Donetsk, where she lived until June 2014. Living there, Eva was constantly treated both in her native city and throughout Ukraine. Because of the war, the family had to move to another city, but the treatment did not stop. In 2017, Eva underwent a complicated leg surgery, after which rehabilitation became even more necessary.

Kiryusha is the first child at mother, he is so expected. He wanted to see soon the world and he was born at 33 weeks with a weight of only 1130 grams. Not everything went well – after birth, Kiril spent a month and a half in the hospital, and, finally, an extract. And on the day when it was already necessary to go home, her mother learns about a new, terrible diagnosis – retinopathy of premature, 4 stages, the active phase.
7-year-old Sophia from Cherkasy needs Your help. The girl was born healthy, but very often sick colds. Before entering the school, passing a medical examination, the doctors suspected in Sofia heart disease, so sent her for further examination – ultrasound. Doctors diagnosed a congenital heart defect – atrial septal defect, therefore, immediately advised to contact with Amosov Institute in Kyiv. There they confirmed the diagnosis and decided to close the defect with an intracardiac implant (the occluder). But implant needs to purchase at their own expense, and it's cost almost 100 000 UAH.
Last September, thanks to kind-hearted people, Roma could go to the clinic for rehabilitation. And in October the boy made his first independent steps – without support! Then he received more medication and, of course, did everyday exercises with his parents. However, now it is not enough: the boy’s hand and leg are still not working well. One more rehabilitation cycle is needed at the clinic under the supervision of professionals but the parents are not able to pay for it.
Yura Bocharnikov was 16 years old when his life turned upside down. As a result of an unsuccessful jump on the beach trampoline in August 2016, the guy received a closed spinal cord trauma, spinal injury, a fracture and dislocation of the cervical vertebrae. Yura spent four months lying motionless in the neurosurgery department of the Odessa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. He was treated with skeletal traction, received anti-decubitus therapy and he really wanted to go home.
"I have a six-year-old daughter, we live together. In the morning, when the oxygen level in the blood falls, I can’t bring her to school, I don’t go out of the house, because I just don’t have strength. I get tired just moving from one room to another. I understand: I need an oxygen apparatus, but I can’t afford it "- our acquaintance began with this letter. Olga is 34, and only this summer they managed to determine the correct diagnosis: cystic fibrosis. Because of ignorance of the diagnosis, a lot of time is lost without proper treatment, and today the lungs of women are very damaged that Olga cannot breathe and live without a powerful oxygen apparatus.
Maxym was born and grew up a healthy and active boy. He was well known for his huge blue eyes and playfulness. On the 3rd of May in 2019, everything changed. Having fun at the local playground, the boy fell from a low slide landing on his head. Maxim had a severe head injury. Since then, his parents and doctors have been fighting for his life.
Food is something without which life is impossible. And to feed children with modern prices is difficult even for an ordinary Ukrainian family. And imagine if you have 32 children at the same time! Thirty-two growing organisms that need good nutrition daily. “The City of Happy Children” is the Center for Assisting disadvantaged children, which has been saving children from violence for 11 years. The center exists only at the expense of caring people and that is why we turn to you for help! The goal of this project is to raise funds to provide children with food during January. And without your support we can not cope!
"THE MARATHON IS OVER. IT IS DEFEAT". Such words 25-year-old Iryna Sholik wrote on her Facebook page. “I was looking for all possible ways, knocking on all doors, doing everything I could do. However, I have to admit my defeat. I did not cope with the task." Iryna set herself the goal and timing of her marathon when the world was losing sounds and colors for her. For 270 days girl tried to raise money for a cochlear implant.
Natalia is the mother of two adorable girls. At 22 weeks of so much desired pregnancy, this woman heard a terrible diagnosis – a low-grade invasive non-specific type of breast cancer – cancer... At the risk of losing her life, Natalia decides to give life to her baby. And the treatment began. The woman underwent 4 courses of chemotherapy, which made it possible to bring the baby to 36 weeks, but, unfortunately, the medicaments stopped giving positive results. A decision had to be made. With the help of the doctors of the perinatal center, premature birth was caused and on June 20, 2019, Natalia gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. But this joyous event was overshadowed by the need for an immediate return to treatment...
